I don't think it's going to lead to a 'revolution', only because Chinese authorities are perfectly capable and happy to slaughter millions to retain control. Why care of the upstart millions when you have billions to replace them?
What this will do however, is increase the stagnation and decline of China internally, those millions protesting are the ones that are the most self aware, adept at problem solving and aggressive. With those gone whether by concentration camps, death by protest or fleeing the country, all you are left with are drones and cowards.
Say you start a war, you strike initially, begin an invasion but met with fierce resistance. It stalls, then what? Your force is full of drones and cowards that can't take the initiative, they hold as the defenders wipe them out or hold them till reinforcements arrive. Same happens with the economy, there's no drive to improve or innovate, this is further prove that there's a race of who's falling first, China or US and then that indicates who gets dragged off the cliff with them.
I'll be honest, I don't see a future where ANY country might be a superpower anymore, I've listed the issues China has so I'll list others on why they can't make it:
US: is going to hit a decline, only question is how far, after which they'll be a pull back and withdraw of having forces globally
Russia: too far behind technologically and the mafia like rule isn't helping to close that gap
Europe: already hit decline, banking on past prestige for influence
India: internal issues plus nuclear rivalry with neighbour stops an expansion effort
Middle east: no unifying cause
South America: corruption and instability
I might put forward a corporation control future but even they've been tainted by ideology, I think we'll just have a global decline across the board followed by a massive reconstruction under a completely new order, as the current NWO guys are going to fail.
They are going to make Tiananmen Square look like a joke.
I don't think they can do that at this point.
There's a camera in every pocket and the memory cards are so small that they can be hidden literally anywhere. Even if they shut down the entire country's internet, there's NO suppressing the pictures and videos that would be taken.
Look at Hong Kong for how this is going to play out. Rubber bullets, beanbags, tear gas, lots of arrests over weeks and weeks until the protesters get tired and remember they have to eat and sleep and pay bills.

Yeah I agree with this. In fact, these two seem to agree with that assessment (despite the click-bait title).
It is beyond horrific what the CCP is about to do to quell dissent.

The only remotely positive thing that will come from this is that a future Chinese invasion of Taiwan will most likely fail.
Any Chinese citizen who is not a drone is about to be purged so there goes all hope for their country's hope of a global hegemony.
