voted to fire the district’s first Black superintendent

Calling people racists for 10+ years will make some people’s skin thicker than steel. The black shields will not work on them.

I'm reminded of the "WHY ARE YOU GETTING EXTREME YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO GET EXTREME" greentext from a few years ago. You treat us like monsters, tell us you want to exterminate us, and now you're surprised we're fighting back? I can't tell if they're extremely stupid or just feigning surprise.
