Everything doesn’t have to include everything. There are networks that have Christmas movies with gay couples that people can watch if they want. I like sappy Christian movies but that aren’t for everyone. I like a lot of older tv shows. Others don’t. In theory a free market should provide different audiences with different content. Seeing Hallmark’s core audience and appealing to them isn’t bad
I don't like most of them for the reasons I told you before, that and everyone seems to be on uppers, but they are fun from time to time. But people love it and I am glad someone invested in the network to make something for people like this. Maybe someone someday will do the same for real gay people and not blue dem shithole drug addicted sluts that hollywood and woke pedos seem to believe every gay is.
Also, GAF, sorry, I got the name of the channel wrong. It was GAC, but split in two a year ago.
He got ackshually-ed in some comments, but this one reads like a quiet "IT IS ABOUT ME!" and the response to that redditor's toddler-logic was stunning from reddit: https://archive.ph/VV77p#selection-34487.0-34613.193
It's where a person is so underdeveloped in their capacity of understanding, either through physical retardation or mental development, that they cannot understand that other people are people too. They have no empathy for them as people, they see them as background characters in their lives. They simply cannot fathom why someone would not give in to their wishes, unless they are a villain and completely evil. It's not because that person has their own wants and desires, its because that person is bad. It's the mentality of a toddler, they never got past that stage and developed the same understanding of humans you and I did between the ages of 6-10.
It's also another of those disorders Reddit loves, because, again, that must be something other people have because they can't be wrong, the other person must be a mental case or evil. Reddit is the home of the socially underdeveloped. They like to mock the tik tok girls for faking mental illnesses and physical problems, but reddit likes to diagnose everyone with psychological problems they don't and can't have.
I tried pointing this out and someone snapped at me. I mostly watch older stuff but when watching modern shows it’s painfully obvious when someone is there only to check a box. Like House of the Dragon. GRRM was dumb to race swap. Could’ve just done a show from another region or shows that have a random gay character that has nothing to do with the story.
As an 80s baby I can remember watching Cosby Show and Family Ties every Thursday as a family. I knew plenty of white people who enjoyed Cosby Show and plenty of black people who watched family ties. Now I doubt similar shows could work today simply because they show a traditional nuclear family which is evil. Unless of course there is some dark secret
https://archive.ph/VV77p#selection-38545.0-38719.171 - Another rational gay man. This one was responded to by a gay man who brings up his interracial relationship in such a way that you know it's entirely a fetish on his part and seeks to use it as proof he's not a racist (he is) and that other people shouldn't have nice things if he can't have it instead.
What is crazy is that if you want to see gay couples on tv they are out there to watch. One channel doesn’t appease them and they lose their minds. One person in the comments pointed out the small percentage of lgbt and the core audience for those types of movies and they got attacked.
I saw that. I firmly believe without covid Trump would’ve easily won. Media did a superb job of scaring everyone into thinking that bodies were piling up everywhere

It's not about having something for everybody, it's about their enemies not getting to have anything at all.

I made the same mistake on the channel name
My favorite interaction is a gay guy saying "so what, not everything has to be for you" https://archive.ph/VV77p#selection-32023.0-32023.147

Those comments are insane. Granted there are a few sane people but so many people seem to think every single show has to cater to them.
Main Character Syndrome is something these people will never get over.
What is that exactly?
Thank you.

There are a few good comments that are not even downvoted. Surprising for reddit

I personally couldn't give less of a shit if two dudes get married, but the entitlement from reddit is absurd. Then again, that's not shocking.
