I remember in high school having to do an assignment with a hot girl in my class, she got a slightly better mark than me even though I did all the work
he was a creep, he was always pretty cold towards the male students while being overly polite towards the females (especially the pretty ones). I remember he would sometimes have this same hot girl in my class write notes on the blackboard just to have an excuse to look at her behind.
As an experiment with a lazy teacher in high school, in different grades we were given the same essay-writing assignment, and I handed in the exact same assignment in Gr11 as a hot girl did in Gr12.
Not only were we not caught out for handing in the exact same essay, but hers, the higher grade student, was marked at 10% higher.
Teachers in high schools in our country often teach one subject, so you'll have an "English Teacher", who will teach Grade 9, 10, 11, and 12 English. Lazy ones, like the one in question, will make the curriculum from "very similar" to "practically the same" between two grades, to halve their work load, as long as the overarching rules allow for it.
Dude was a creep, and acted pretty obviously biased in the classes, and students of different grades talk to each-other, at lunches, in sports teams, in clubs, etc. She was on the choir team, which is how I knew her, and talking smack about the prof giving blatantly favorable treatment is how the idea got started.
And yes, I wrote the essay, printed off two copies, and gave one to her. It wasn't some end of year report or high value homework, just another assignment, and I did the essay to make sure that if it came down to it, it would be her copying my homework, because that much, at least, we knew he would go "oh, she's a woman, that's fine to do". But he didn't even notice, just gave her a straight letter grade higher.

Was the teacher aware of who did the work?
Yeah I complained to him about it, and he called me paranoid.
If that was actually what he called you, then it doesn't even remotely make any sense. Accusing you of lying would be something, but paranoid?
If that's what actually happened, then it's clear that the teacher cared less about being coherent than about giving preferential treatment.

How does it not make sense, lol?
It’s coherent, it’s just an excuse…
“Lol, you’re just being paranoid. I would NEVER give preferential grades.”
Makes perfect sense to me.

Wait, how was the teacher doing both grades??
So you and this girl just, uhh, got together to do this..? I’m intrigued…
Did you write hers for her, or what?? 😂
