I'll probably mosey in to my county's election results in the morning, which has already been called basically all red, and see that people still voted for tax increases and handouts for first line responders aka the people that will be pointing a gun to your head because it's The Law (as TPTB call it).

Maybe it's the Suntory talking, but I don't see this as a particular big victory. Republicans won because the Democrats are literal lunatics that can't tell a man from a woman, not because people start caring about conservatism or freedom or personal destiny.
