Trump separated himself from the pack in 2016 by campaigning on building the wall, deporting illegals, draining the swamp, and locking up Hillary.
If he tries running on the same or similar issues this time around, the stench of bullshit will be too much to ignore except for his most devoted followers.
IMO, he'll probably run on "I'm not Biden," and I'm sure with how bad Biden is, he'll win just off of that.
The sad part is, this will be another wasted election to try and get an actual change candidate who won't sell out as much. Too bad Rand Paul has a terrible sense of what grassroots Republican voters want. Last time around, he was pandering to try in bring in more black voters. Fucking eh, what a mess.
A lot of libertarians don't understand that in the real world libertarian governance can only exist with strong nationalism and border controls. ("communists must be physically removed")
Open borders only make sense within the confines of a protected territory, and only with voluntary support. Otherwise, collectivists and their slave armies invade and kill everyone and take our shit.
A libertarian argument against mass migration is rather simple, but I hardly see anyone making it. If you want to live some place, you have to: buy property and get a job.
That sounds pretty simple, but Corporate Colonialism is what supports mass migration, and what they do is colonize places to import people to in people movement schemes. If you try to come to America, the same way a Virginian might try to move to Pennsylvania, foreign migration to the US would fucking collapse. If you move from Virginia to Pennsylvania, you need to: know the laws, find a specific time, buy a house in PA, sell your house in VA, and have a brand new job waiting for you in PA, all at your own personal expense. It's a bitch and 2 halves.
Then you actually have to integrate. If you can't get along with your neighbors, even if it's their fault, you'll have to self-deport to somewhere else and start the whole process all over again.
Instead, corporations, governments and NGOs promise foreign colonists: jobs, movement, welfare, healthcare, subsidies, and property for merely existing. As for integration, you don't have to because the organizations will buy up land for you to colonize so you never have to integrate, or even interact, with the local community. Hell, you don't even have to learn the local dialect.
The perfect AnCapistan position would be that mass migration is utterly impossible because property rights are too well secured by individuals to even allow it, and no support would be given to foreigners who must integrate at cost. A Libertarian solution would require a minimum of national borders with an armed military prepared to defend those borders in order to protect the property rights of the individuals.
