Funderburg, 26, parted with the network after alleged past tweets from 2013 and 2014 using racial slurs surfaced. UT did not provide a reason for Funderburg’s departure, according to the outlet. Her bio page has been deleted from the Vols’ official website.
OutKick reported, however, that Funderburg was fired by UT after those tweets surfaced. She was 17 or 18-years-old at the time of the posts.
