There is nothing "supremacist" about Ben Shapiro. Ben Shapiro, like all intelligent right wingers, want to gatekeep the fringe elements of the right wing out of the mainstream right for the correct reason that fringe elements are routinely used by the Left to discredit the whole.
"Gatekeeping effective resistance to the Left is a good thing".
Good lord. This is why I don't trust Conservatives: They're utterly ineffectual at best and outright saboteurs more often.
So, what you're saying is that you don't think it's fruitful to point out the absurdities of the left. Because you're saying there's no harm in giving the left the same opportunities.
I'm saying that extremism is necessary to mount a defense against the current onslaught. Timid moderates are not a bulwark against the current threats.
No it literally is not unless you think the average conservative is an extremist in which case then congratulations you have bought into leftists propaganda and think that opposition to leftist radicals is extremist
The average conservative is utterly useless and will go along with the whatever hellscape the Left happens to be steering him towards without offering any meaningful resistance. Extremists are those who would throw the Left out of helicopters with a clear conscience if that is what needs to be done to defend against the threat they pose.
A will to violence is becoming increasingly necessary but the that doesn't mean it isn't an extreme solution. The extreme counter measures have become necessary because the moderates have accomplished absolutely nothing of worth.
It isn't fruitful to point out the absurdities of the left. Once you realize that they are simply operating along the friend/enemy distinction, pointing out their "inconsistencies" becomes depressing as it's not being inconsistent, it's them being blindingly, feverishly, loyal.
