I've noticed that most right wing supporters of Ukraine are usually just not connecting the conspiracy. They seem to assume that because russia is involved and russia bad (according to call of duty and recent cold war policies) that we can suspend all distrust that permeates every other decision and policy made by the same us government. It's strange to see people do a 180 on government in order to support a war against russia.
The Cold War was a very useful tool to elites who wanted to centralize federal authority over American's lives. Create a foreign enemy that everyone has to unite against to defeat. (not that Russia wasn't a valid enemy then) I think are trying to do the same thing now with the continuous funding to Ukraine. Put Russia on the defensive so they ready their nukes, we ready ours, and let the good times roll again.
The Internet makes the propaganda harder but it works among normies who watch TV and don't connect the dots.
