He posts weird, irrational shit all the time. Generally it’s highly upvoted, but, much like Imp, I’m not quite sure he understands logic, or gives a shit…
Blaming a bunch of, in essence, peasants, for a gigantic municipal and engineering fuck up, kind of fits with that pattern…
If this happened in fucking Africa, I imagine he, and others here, would be even more glib.
It might not even be an engineering fuck-up. Like I said, the bridge was only rated for 125 people, but there were at least 500 people on the bridge when it collapsed. It is a municipal fuck-up, though:
Some 400 people had bought tickets to get onto the bridge to celebrate the Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals
Selling 400 tickets to enter a "venue" that can only safely hold 125 is obviously criminally negligent.

They shook it and it collapsed. Looks pretty fucking cut and dry to me.
Doesn't look cut and dry to me. They attempted to induce harmonic oscillation, yes. They barely even got started getting the bridge to oscillate.
That's like trying to carve your initials into a bridge by scratching the paint and finding out it's rusted through and it disintegrates.

Exactly. Saying something looks "cut and dry" makes zero sense.
Cut and dried is the correct version.

stop defending street shitters
There was no harmonic nothing. You shake something that's not put together to withstand the shaking, it falls apart.
