Just for fun, I tried to search if the phrase "a Barack Obama appointee" is found anywhere. For a judge, that occurred in just one place, where they were describing the appointers of three different ones.
I also looked for "an Obama appointee" - and that had a lot more, but almost exclusively not judges. Where it was, it had actually something to do with Obama himself, making it relevant.
Here it's just out of the blue in order to try to discredit the judge.
