I fully believe that in order to live like this, you have to be a sociopath. To spend your days uselessly drinking vegan smoothies in an ostentatious monument to excess and getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and not feel bad about it, you have to have neither a soul nor the ability to feel any emotion, unless narcissism counts as an emotion.
Now in order to not only not feel bad but to brag about it, that just makes you subhuman. Lower than shit. She's everything wrong with modern society.

"I've seen the future, you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sittin' around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake singing "I'm an Oscar-Meyer Wiener". - Edgar Friendly "Demolition Man"
This mentality is cultivated in our public schools where everyone's a winner, the stupidest are put forward as exemplary, you get strokes for being the right sex and/or color, and narcissism is the ruling ethos.
It is made worse by the envy generated by consumer culture, which creates the mindset "I deserve that" instead of "how can I earn that?"

The parasite class have no souls, that much is clear. Nor morals. No adult with either of those things would choose to be a leech.
