It surely is a one time incident.... no one is that stupid, and even so, this would be punished severely, right?
"Potter was sentenced to two years in prison, serving sixteen months ... The typical sentence is... more than seven years in prison, with a maximum set at fifteen years."
She shouldn't have gone to jail at all. She was 100% justified using lethal force. The "victim" in the case was in the middle of an assault on multiple officers using a fucking car.

I watched most of that trial.

The problem is she lacked the mental state to justify use of deadly force. Aka she's a retard that was yelling taser taser and shot her gun
As much as I agree with your sentiment, we don't do extra judicial executions here.
And my point is that she was convicted and she received a ridiculously low sentence.
PussyPass.
Of course, I agree that the use of a car as a lethal weapon should warrant the use of lethal force in self defense.
The problem with that line of reasoning is that she meant to tase him.
This indicates that she herself did not believe that the use of force was necessary and through incompetence ended up killing the perp .
