This is as good a time as ever to repost my favorite Buyer's Guide on the best Telescoping Poles from Amazon.

When you have children, you spend a lot of time indoors. So, why not start them off with a pole? A telescoping pole will help them reach the furniture and objects they need while out and about. It will also keep them from hitting their heads on the hardwood floor.

Sadly they deleted that work of art not long after I archived it.
