I did like Tennant in his original Doctor performance, but constantly bringing back old incarnations is just pandering at this point. And, of course, following a few "see, here's the people you liked!" specials, it's right back to diversity hires with a black dude whose only major role so far was apparently a Netflix series about high school students coming to terms with their sexuality.
They're just going to bait-and-switch it. Might be one episode, might be one season. But they will get it in there. If you really want to watch it, just wait a year or two to see how it plays out. Someone will praise or criticize it for being woke (or not woke enough) after the season finale without spoiling, and then you'll know.

If Davies Dr Who is back, I'll watch.
If they go back to woke bullshit, I'll stop.
Simple as.
I'm willing to forgive if execs turn their backs on the wokes and go back to making quality entertainment.

Like how Transformers Prime had Cliffjumper voiced by Dwayne Johnson, and then killed him off five minutes into the first episode?
Not the best example, granted, since Transformers Prime was really fucking good for the rest of the show.
