It does not seem unreasonable to 'cross into Ukraine' in case of an attack on NATO countries. It may just be cope by the Ukraine lovers there though.

There should be no crossing. Not even if there is an attack. False flags are a highly likely, especially given all the stolen and scavenged Russian weaponry.
