Good’s label, Warner Music Canada, has dropped the 49-year-old musician after allegations arose of him being a “serial abuser” by his ex-girlfriend, music producer, Hayley Mather.
“Matt Good is a serial abuser,” she wrote, according to an article by Global News. “… During our relationship, I had been cheated on frequently (unknowingly, except for one occasion in which I regrettably forgave him), constantly lied to, sexually coerced, groomed, emotionally and mentally abused and manipulated.”
She accused Good of manipulating her while she was suffering from postpartum depression and apparently “ended up having a mental breakdown and had to take a leave from work,” from Good’s alleged abuse, according to Global.

I'm sorry, but cheating is not abuse. It's a separate thing.
They both sound equally broken; the court should force them to co-habitate as punishment for failing at basic humanity.
Forcing someone to co-habitate with a woman comes under cruel and unusual punishment, surely. Nobody deserves that.
Not in a vacuum perhaps, but it absolutely can be a significant part of abuse, as it sounds like it was here.
I unironically agree with you here.
It's not good, but it ain't abuse.
Though it sounds like what he was doing was, at least by her account, a bit worse than just cheating...
