The problem with Privacy.com is the Plaid service that requires you to give access to your personal account to use it. Even if Plaid themselves is never going to act maliciously, doing that is a big security risk.
Plaid already had a big settlement because of a potential privacy breach, though I don't think anyone's account was actually compromised.
