For me personally, I would only consider a white man with a similar background to me, who has a similar IQ to me, a similar career and life path, a similar community and beliefs/values as being my peer.
But race rhetoric says white women are your peers because you're all white.
If I haven't committed a race crime, I'd rather have a black jury than a female one.

But then you have ridiculously narrow requirements that will make finding a jury nearly impossible for some.
That's fair so perhaps we just leave it at same sex, race and citizenship status.
Sounds fair. It also prevents black groups' least favorite thing, an all white jury on a black person's case.
Everyone wins, except women, who will grind their teeth at not being able to restrict justice.
