This is such a ridiculous, old-fashioned excuse that I wanted to reply to the guy in the other thread who said the same thing. I remember thinking this was wrong a decade ago when people were boycotting advertisers unless they pulled ads from Fox News or certain websites. People who grew up after the 1950s do not make an association between the products shown in 2 minute ad breaks and the content they are paying for. We know it's a service to sell a product. And this isn't even that kind of relationship. There's no implicit sponsorship at all. Literally nobody knew or cared where Kanye kept his money except for him and the bank.
You act like the media wouldn't jump to attack JPM, like they did to defend the fucking OnlyThots from getting debanked. They're especially weak now, their next earnings report is tomorrow and their stock is near the 52-week low.
A part of me thinks all this is designed to produce a certain outcome, where Kanye loses it and does a Mel Gibson, permanently destroying his career, as revenge for his song Golddigger.
