Organic farms... Organic farms... Fuck, if THAT was what defined a "wokeist", I really don't think things would be this close to complete societal breakdown...
I don't actually think that they genuinely believe that, but nonetheless... Makes for good propaganda, and an appeal to "We're just good people, bigot!", even if total garbage nonsense...
Makes you more woke, no. But it's probably not a stretch to say that psuedoscientific chinese folk-medicine is not going to be on the shopping list of any westerner who isn't at least a pinko.
There's tons of informal support. As far as I know there's not been a large scale clinical trial, but no one is going to fund a study for a product that anyone can make.
lmao
They're repulsive inside and out.

Looking at this again, I assume it’s meant to be at least partly humorous…
No one believes that kombucha-drinking makes you “more woke”. Not even these people, surely…

Fermented food is good for gut health. That's it. It's not eastern mumbo jumbo.

"Booch" is super mainstream in Aus, though...
Like, I would say that it outsells most soft drinks, in the major cities.
It has been for a while.
Not "organic home brew" kombucha by any means, but various... "Cola brand" versions of the stuff, pre-made, in bottles and cans...
It is, in essence, ubiquitous by now. As is iced tea, which, well, is more like your "Arizona" brand than anything else... Just slightly less sweet.
Both are owned by Coca-Cola or Schweppes or whatever, but still, they're everywhere here.
Soft drinks are one thing that I noticed were very different, in America, in general lol...
Well Australia is super woke now so maybe they've got a point.
