Unironically, it is. I have seen some of the stories created by the SJW Brigade where they decided to actually try and create an original story. 9/10 times, they are even more nonsensical than the stuff they come up with by race swapping and plot reworking on established IP.
Because, you know, these are mostly people who were given their spots through nepotism and/or political favor, and have no idea in the slightest how to actually do a story.
The funniest thing about this one is the completely changed the setting to make sure a black character worked.
The entire plot revolves around the need to jam a black vampire into this. It is absurd.
My response is always “then write your own story with a black vampire”
