But... adults can buy Happy Meals. I distinctly remember an ex-bf of mine buying one, because we wanted a pokémon figurine. I still have it somewhere.

They should have honestly just marketed happy meals kids who wanted quarter pounders and big macs.

Both McD and BK used to have the "Mighty Kids" option for older kids that came with both toys and somewhat bigger portions for this exact purpose.

They all did away with them some time ago for reasons I don't know.
