They might hear the "anti-nationalist" rhetoric from the EU, sure. But not the kind of crap Waters is spouting about Ukraine.
That is... Pretty out of line with anything the mainstream (outside, say, Fox News/John Pilger/Jordan Peterson) in most of the "Western" world would see as "reasonable discourse", lol.
Poland has been called out for various shit before this war started, sure, but now they're like... Basically the EU's buffer (along with the Baltics) - EU criticism has been notably muted ever since February. For obvious reasons.
As for banning Waters... Countries do this sort of shit all the time (I do believe Tyler the Creator was banned from Aus, at one point, for "inciting violence" or something...), including for political bollocks. It's just that this is a) the most prominent example, and b) obviously very topical...
I honestly think that if he had just shut up, instead of doubling down, they probably would have let it go ahead, lol. But frankly, I think they see it as "Why allow someone who is fiddling for the enemy to make money on our soil?", or some such, lol...
Look it up if you want. He is like... Totally off his rocker nuts, when it comes to politics. But I'm sure he would just consider it "old left", or some bullshit...
He's always been an arsehole (hence the band kicking him out). Now he's just a mean, bitter, successful arsehole.

I meant for the Polish, I'd have thought they'd ignore that noise by now than ban him since they probably hear it everyday from the EU alone...

True, didn't know this wasn't a first example and he doubled down, celebrities haven't meant much other than which ones might be child molesters.
Oh, I promise you, this isn't his first time...
