OK, I know this is trite, but I must show how stupid this is:
Every citizen is responsible for the actions of their state, and citizens of Germany are no exception. Therefore, we do not give asylum to Jews who flee their country. They should oppose the war.
The funny thing is, this principle, ridiculous as it is, follows from the assumptions that underpin democracy. That doesn't make the principle any better, it just demonstrates that democracy is a moral evil.

But that standard is idiocy.
It's also the same justification used for random terrorist attacks on civilians in countries you don't like.
Then again, it's not the first time international foreign affairs has demonstrated it's the real pro-league for terrorism.

Moral evil? No. Naive? Yes.
Democracy is gang rape. Violating the rights of minorities on the mere basis that they're outnumbered and overpowered.
