So “people watched the show too slowly” according to Neil because Netflix reported that there were not enough viewed hours of the show in a 28 day period to justify a second season.
Doesn’t that just mean not enough people watched it and those that did didn’t like it enough to keep watching? What a pathetic cope. I used to read Neil Gaiman stuff and I had no idea from his writing that he was such an insufferable goddamn faggot.
Yeah, I read all of Sandman (and Lucifer) and I enjoyed them.
Tried the first episode of the show and I got so bored that I turned it off.
Nothing stood out to grab my attention (in the first episode, mind you) except the queer boosting, which I'm already tired of.
Visually blah, dialog was slow, and they spent way too much time on bland characters that turn out to be completely irrelevant later (which was honestly a bit of a problem with the original as well).
Would have been better animated. I'm honestly sick of live action anything and it feels like studios only do it so they have an excuse to use "perfectly good actors of colour" instead of just drawing characters how they're supposed to look.
I also only made it through one episode. I never read the original so the woke stuff didn’t really bother me, it was just boring. Exact same story with the Lucifer show too, actually.
