I'm pretty sure I heard about the same technology being used that found an old graveyard from the 19th century somewhere else then.
Too bad this nonsense clogs up the search results so I can't find the actually interesting story.
It's less official than I recall, but this anonymous architect's amateur breakdown halfway down this substack page gives detailed aerial photos and historical construction changes to the Kamloops grounds in question that suggest that the "disturbances" from GPR aren't graves at all
There were also similar reports during the hysteria near old schools in Edmonton and Saskatchewan, but AFAIK they were all unsubstantiated bandwagon hoaxes as well.
