We don’t really do this, here.
Even the MSM here generally uses “blak” (yes, with that spelling, for the Abos).
They only insist on capitalizing “Aboriginal”, “Indigenous” or “First Nations”.
Admittedly, those are always capitalized, but I guess there’s some argument there as to why…
When talking about “black Americans”, it is usually “African Americans”…
I don’t think I’ve really ever seen “black” capitalized, here, in that context, but I’m probably half a decade behind the woke zeitgeist, so who fucking knows at this point, lol…
North American pop culture is already corrupting accents of young people, here, and is how “blak” and “First Nations” became a thing, so I honestly hate to think…
I think the great problem is that you speak English as your first language. There is no barrier between American influences when that is the case, which is probably why the English-speaking world is such a mess.
Second to them are countries in which a large number of people speak English, like Sweden.
Countries where fewer people speak English seem relatively protected, like France.
