If I remember right the trial is held in one of the blue areas like New York or DC so he's getting railroaded because of his personal beliefs
Nope. He is getting sent to jail for that massive crowd funding scam to build the border wall he stupidly was a part of. They took in a hundred million and didn't fund a dime towards the wall.
