Most importantly: completely ignore the libertarians and dignity boomers who say "but if we use government power, then they'll do it to us when the pendulum swings".
Because those people are retarded NPCs who don't realize the leftists are already in the middle of doing that, and worse, to us.
They can fuck right off to a third world shithole with the leftists as far as I'm concerned.
You'd think they'd be all for being proven right. Just grab some popcorn and watch the people who spent years expanding and abusing gov power for their own benefit also take their turn under the boot. Then propose reform once both sides have had a taste of the dirt.
But if they had any long-term foresight they wouldn't be in the state they're in.

You shouldn't empower a state that will be used by your enemies to supress you in 4 years.
