One of her lies is that women did not play games because they were not designed for girls. There is some truth to it but not in any way Anita would like. Guys and girls like different type of games so if you want more girls to play you are going to make more games for girls - walking simulators, candy crush games, animal crossing, sims but if you can make games for girls then why it is wrong to make game for guys, why can't we have fighting games or adventure games designed for guys.

I've seen no evidence of that. I've not seen girls say o wow I like this game that is objectively worse do to politics more then if it was done in an organic manner like older games.
I agree. I’ve said for years that there is nothing wrong with making things that appeal to girls/women. My beef is the attack on make hobbies. The Sims are a guilty pleasure for me. I can definitely see how it would appeal to more women.
