Linden Labs really screwed the pooch. They had years to optimize their client-server model. Then literally all they had to do was add a VR FPS mode to the client and they would be the next Ready Player One. What did they do instead? "Let's make a whole new VR game with curated worlds and limited freedom like the other hundred basic bitch NFT sandbox platforms out there."

Being HQ'ed in San Francisco, this should come as no surprise. Everything woke turns to shit.
