I mean their current card game expansion that they released a few days ago is turning out to be a complete nightmare both for play and balance. All of them involve extremely easy to execute win condies that aren't reliant on one specific card to work. There was literally an article on their discord about it, where even if the top-5 most played cards from the top-3 decks got nerfed/removed their winrates wouldn't actually change.
So basically Hearthstone is turning into Yu-gi-oh?
The powercreep for that game is insane now
Not sure as I haven't played the game in 20 years. TLDR though: one of the decks has an extremely consistent draw engine where you can get through most of your deck in the first 6 turns, another allows you to set up a board that is nigh-unkillable, and the other steals all of your opponent's cards then prevents them from using them.
