Surely this will be overturned on appeal.
Taxes caps punitives at 2x actual damages, so the judge is supposed to reduce it to confirm with the law without any need for appeal. The PLAINTIFFs are threatening to appeal, which is just a joke.
The bigger issue is that Alex Jones has multiple other trials like this already lined up and they are all going to try to take a bite out of him.
Appeals lawyers get paid too. They're going to drain him dry with penalties and endless legal fees.
