If I was Putin and wanted to completely destroy Ukraine as a nation, I'd take over eastern more manageable regions, let the Ukrainian loyalists keep a small enclave in the west, and inundate it with globohomo values and propaganda. Send gay dissidents there. Teach them that toxic masculinity is what led to war. Convince young men that diversity will make them strong enough to withstand the evil Russian Empire.
