Moderates really don't dislike Trump that much.

And in fact, I know a not-insignificant amount of normies who have gone the other way.

They voted for Biden thinking that if they made the Orange Man go away that all of the Left Wing was rioting over and had spent 4 years attacking people at every turn, it would make them calm down. It is why they still voted Republican down the rest of the ticket. And besides, Biden is an old-school Dem and a moderate one, right? He cant be that bad.

Now, two years later, they see that none of that happened. The Left is still screaming about the Orange Man and attacking anyone who doesnt reeee about his mere existence. If anything, the rage and hysteria has escalated. Biden turned out to actually bend to the crazy Left Wingers they hated, and is so hilariously corrupt he makes Nixon look like a Boy Scout (try as the MSM might, they have indeed seen a lot of the Hunter stuff, as well as all of the new shit that has happened). And now, they are finding out all of the institutions and companies they once trusted are infested by the Left Wingers and are being weaponized to terrorize them even further.

So a lot of Normies are turning around, going back to Trump, and saying with bowed head "Perhaps I treated you too harshly."
