I probably should have elaborated a bit more above because there's actually an important conflict between Nationalists and right-liberals that manifests in this bickering between me and him.
The thing about him and others with that mindset is they've completely bought into liberalism's poison pill of the ideal man. The ideal man is one who is liberated from his own society. He is not beholden to any tradition, expectation, or standard beyond economic exchange. Traditions and expectations are mere obstacles to the open market and the life of leisure and permanent adolescence. They must be destroyed!
Hence, conflict between us.
Aha! That sounds like version of MGTOW and Libertarian absolutism.
Yeah, sort of. It's not very well fleshed out. Impy wants women to be "punished for what they have done" which sounds authoritarian rather than libertarian, but that's liberalism for you. Even the more sane varieties tend to lack internal consistency.
It does seem kind of pick and choose for sure. I have not caught him recommending books of philosophy and Libertarian economics like some.
It's more the social liberation, that permanent adolescence that he wants. Think of it as the world view of an oligarch but paired with the economic reality of being middle class and all the restrictions that come with it, hence bitterness.
