For some reason, such countries have done better on the matter. Scandinavian countries and England (the dumbest countries in Europe apart from Germany) have restricted chemical castration ("puberty blockers") for kids.

I'm not sure it's because of the health care system and not because on this issue, they haven't yet reached the heights of insanity the American left has though. Also because institutions, in my judgment, are less subverted.
