Also answers why shill media and owners of IPs get mad when someone just wants escapism. Current comic book writers love saying comic books have always reflected the world outside after they finish their 1000th blm or me too related storyline

The correct response isn’t to say “I want apolitical entertainment”.

The correct response is to say “okay, then I want entertainment that reflects my political views, and I’m going to spend my money on those products”.

The culture war is here. You don’t have a choice.

Which is a shame because it shouldn’t have to be that way but I stopped reading modern marvel and dc comics because it was like a DNC approved manuscript
