I was talking about getting a position like precinct captain at the local GOP.
It took me months to get an appointment to even get a new state driver's license here.
Then it took me two weeks after that to get my voter registration card.
Don't know where you are at but north Texas bureaucracy is greatly inefficient even under Republican rule.
