It says he 'made a living' though. That seems to imply he's supporting himself.
I'm sure it wasn't good enough for her because of her actions, but it might have been good enough in absolute terms.
I looked up the source, but there's not enough information there to flesh out her motives. I guess we end up not knowing enough to say he was or wasn't productive.
Most of these messages from Russia are pretty spun anyway.
Like that story of the 17-year-old going to prison for blowing up the FSB in Minecraft.
According to other sources (which I can't verify either), he actually went to jail for planning to blow up actual FSB buildings.
Doing something illegal "in Minecraft" means he joked about it on the internet.
I am well aware of that, having had to censor countless such comments on Reddit.
In this case, the claim was that he actually blew up the building in Minecraft.
