Does it even have to be specific allegations? The idea of anyone having their lives ruined for something they didn't do without due investigation because of the idea that we should just "listen and believe" is abhorrent.
And it will happen. You can claim women wouldn't do that all you want, and you can accuse people of being sexist for saying it would happen all you want, but the fact is that it's human nature that if you give a group of people the ability to make accusations with impunity, some of them are going to use it to get ahead or for revenge.

Defamation, rumor, passive aggression are the ways women flex, it's how they compete with one another and with men. Since being allowed into politics and business management over the past 60 years, women still rely on these nasty underhanded tactics even though they are no longer necessary. They may be "equal" to men legally and socially, but as a whole they still behave as if they're discriminated against, and I probably don't need to remind everyone that the lies of feminism have encouraged bitching about everything as sexist and patriarchal.
My own mother, in finance for 20 years of her 40-year professional life, admits this and says it's why she has very few women friends.
If you're reading this Imp, there are some exceptions to the rule, as there always are.
Of course it will happen. This is by design, not coincidence. Women know that to be believed without question when it comes to these allegations that it will give them a huge amount of power. They want this power, because they know it won't really backfire directly on themselves - their own allegations against men will be take seriously, whereas allegations against themselves (women) by men won't be taken seriously.
Social power - this is the arena that one area women absolutely excel at gaining and using. Yet men continuously underestimate this - they think women are generally innocent angels that are too stupid to understand the social consequences of the policies they are advocating for. Of course they know.
