He is travelling on an airplane! Doesn't he know there is a pandemic!? It's people like him that are spreading the new variants across the globe. /s
Still the dude is a complete hypocrite.
I'm having to fly in a couple of days and no joke my whole family's freaking out ill catch the coof and it'll be super mega awful or whatever. "Everyone's catching covid on planes!!!"
edit for further context: I'm 95% certain I had it two weeks back, just felt achy for a day and had a minor cough for a week after. Another close relative had a fever and chills for a day, aches for two, and cough for a few days after that; didn't bother getting a test because that relative didn't want to know for sure.
If they were paying attention to the coof they'd see it's getting less and less severe overtime as it gets more endemic. Ffs, people I'm seeing catching it and getting positive tests are reporting symptoms that are no worse than a cold now! Nevermind all the other stats about it that we've known for about 1.5 years now.
You can do an antibody test to see if you got the coof - there's an antibody test that will show you had it before, as long as you're a pureblood it's 100% an accurate test.
Also it shows how little about the SOYENCE people know about COVID:

This is from a mainstream site. Basically, airplanes are one of the safer places to be in because there is YUGE cabin pressure (keeps you from physically blowing up) and very high ventilation and outside air. The filters for their AC/circulation system are super high commercial grade. You have more of a chance of getting the coof from waiting in line around others before and after the flight, so if you want to minimize chances of getting it, get in, get out, and GTFO as quickly as possible to minimize contact around people.
If you already got the coof a couple weeks ago even bettre, you're immune.
