A year or two ago, the police contacted a man for retweeting a TERF poem because "they needed to check his thinking" to make sure "his trans coworkers are not unsafe".

He asked them exactly what crime was he accused of. None. Nobody complained. He has no "trans coworkers". But there are police units browsing the Internet all day to go after Wrongthinkers. A tranny police was offended, so they used the police to harass the guy to shut him up.

He made a formal complaint and got an apology because the person reviewing the case was not just yet woke enough to consider the poem a "grossly offensive digital communication" ( a crime in the UK ).
