While I guess more teenager than child, I have been doing something to make money (from third parties not like my parents paying me) since I was 13 and I've had some sort of "official" job since I was 16. I said when I was in my mid 20s I learned more from work than I ever did from school, and over a decade later I'll still say it.
Teenager if you're homeschooled, 5yrs old minimum limit if you're public schooled.
Make Child Labor Great Again
Side note: I like how children cleaning chimneys in the 1900s is always the poster child for anti-child labor proponents. Like, yeah, this is pure fucking propaganda and there's countless other jobs where they don't get dirty and learn valuable life skills.
Do you think it should be illegal for children to clean chimneys? If so, does the Libertarian Party agree with you on this?
Meanwhile, back in 1905, the child cleaning the chimney is like "thank god I'm not the one operating the heavy machines in the factory, Timmy already lost 5 fingers".
