Thomas did not claim that. He merely stated that that was the petitioner's argument. "Petitioners are 16 healthcare workers who served New York communities throughout the COVID–19 pandemic. They object on religious grounds to all available COVID–19 vaccines because they were developed using cell lines derived from aborted children. Pet. for Cert. 8."
The COVID vaccines were, in fact, tested with the use of cell lines taken from aborted fetuses. The various articles attacking Thomas openly admit this, and then defensively argue that it's okay to do that.
Thomas does not "govern" anyone.
Alex Sammon, your consent is neither requested nor required.
Run false headline with the narrative you want to create.
Get a million views.
Issue "correction" days later.
Get a hundred views.
Enjoy having created a false narrative that is now "truth" to the idiot public.
This is exactly what happened here again. All the media went with the "Thomas said this" headline. All the pundits have been parroting it like faithful stooges.
I saw Politico issue their "correction" a day or two ago.
I used to believe in Hanlon's Razor: Do not ascribe to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
At this point, I am certain that if it's from the press or government (but I repeat myself), malice is a given. They are liars and bad faith actors, and it should always be assumed that their "mistakes" are deliberate.
Agree. It’s too much of a playbook now - stealth edits are such a moral and journalistic no no that anyone who does them should be fired on the spot and have their names dragged through the mud… unfortunately it’s now celebrated and almost seems encouraged.

They know it's false, they just don't care.
The media's standard procedure is now:

At this point it has become the norm. We have to fire them all - out of cannons.
