Don't get taken. That's the only way this ever ends. Put yourself in a compound and make them take losses to come get you. If you can't do this, don't bother sticking your neck out in the first place.
We all know the risks now, but before COVID we assumed a peaceful protest was our right that would not be interfered with. At worst you'd get a slap on the wrist like a fine for not having a permit or blocking traffic.

Where I am, Feds wouldn't dare step in to harass, let alone arrest, citizens, without first notifying the local State barracks and the office of the Sheriff. It would take something clear-cut and extraordinary for the Sheriff to escalate the situation into some kind of capture. The State boys would maliciously comply just because, but in any event word would go out pretty quick. You'd have to be a known piece of shit who did something egregious for all these people to join hands to surprise you at your own home.
Now, this is in a place where when word came down that people were prepping to get some BLM/Antifa squads together for some peaceful youth sports, a bunch of Sheriffs' men stopped them at highway checkpoints and sent them home, for their own good. Off the clock, of course.
