I can't disagree with you that a lot of traditional voter blocs like muh suburban women will vote whoever looks more shiny and "electable", but I think people like me are a significant bloc for him. Most of the time we just don't vote at all. So if you mean his whining is bad from a tactical perspective, I think it's probably a wash.
