It was never really there from what I saw. Even back in Chairman Pao's day the purges were blatantly political. The most they would do in terms of "balance" was purge the occasional commie sub that crossed them in some way. The fact that they've had rules against brigading since at least 2015 and shitholes like r/SRS and r/AHS still exist tells you all you need to know abut how seriously those rules are taken when subs they like violate them. Shit, they won't even enforce the CP ban against those subs.
