Made into the movie Bladerunner.

it's short!
it's packed full of... stuff!
the movie has about 1/3 of the short novels content, both are amazing!

PK Dick is a giant in American sci-fi writing. This is one of his seminal works: he has many more, but DADOES is one of the most accessible.
Lots of places to read it online for free too!
